A stunning centrepiece for Kingshill Grange

Leading housebuilder Taylor Wimpey has commissioned esteemed British artist Peter Randall-Page to create a stunning centrepiece for its Kingshill Grange development of apartments and houses for sale in High Wycombe.
His work, inspired by nature, is held in public and private collections throughout the world, and Peter is represented in the permanent collections of the Tate Gallery and British Museum. The sculpture he is creating for Kingshill Grange will reflect the beautiful setting of the exclusive new homes currently under construction, and is inspired by the tranquil, tree-lined green open space which runs along one side of this stunning collection of houses and flats in High Wycombe.
On his latest visit to the site, Peter explained: “One of the really exciting aspects of Kingshill Grange is its relationship with the open space and mature trees which border it – these are an amazing asset to the site and there is one fantastically proportioned specimen oak tree within that area from which I’m drawing a lot of my inspiration for this project.”
While the look of the finished sculpture and its positioning on site are remaining under wraps until later in the year, Peter plans to involve pupils at Highworth School and the Royal Grammar School in High Wycombe with art projects relating to the local environment, and this will include school visits to Kingshill Grange.
Bill Luck, Senior Design and Planning Executive for Taylor Wimpey West London said: “We’re very much looking forward to the unveiling of Peter’s sculpture, and are thrilled to be commissioning a permanent work of art which can be enjoyed by those choosing one of the new homes for sale in High Wycombe at Kingshill Grange, as well as the wider community.
“It is also an exciting opportunity for us to work with local pupils and students in High Wycombe, who will be able to see how a world-renowned artist is inspired by their surroundings to create art on a very impressive scale.”
Kingshill Grange will comprise a wide range of homes including two-bedroom apartments available from £184,995, three-bedroom houses from £329,995, four-bedroom homes starting at £344,995 and stunning five-bedroom properties from £825,000.
Selected new homes will enjoy their very own individual Peter Randall-Page designs in the finishing detail of the wrought iron gates and railings, which the artist is also helping to create.
Situated in the leafy northern outskirts of High Wycombe, Kingshill Grange is perfectly placed for Peter’s artwork and will offer an ideal location for City commuters looking to escape the hustle and bustle of central London, as well as for young parents in search of a peaceful but well-appointed place to raise their families.
The development enjoys excellent road links to the M40, M25 and the A404, and is just over a mile from High Wycombe railway station, which offers regular services to London Marylebone in less than 40 minutes.
High Wycombe’s town centre has recently undergone a major regeneration, and boasts a wide range of high street and independent shops, plus a wealth of bars, restaurants, entertainment and leisure facilities including a theatre, a multi-screen cinema and a bowling alley.
For relaxation, Rye Park offers acres of green space and an outdoor swimming pool, while the charming villages, country pubs and walks of rural Buckinghamshire are just a short distance away.
The Kingshill Grange Sales Information Centre is located off Kingshill Road, High Wycombe, and open seven days a week between 10.30am and 5.30pm.
