A stunning centrepiece for Kingshill Grange

Leading housebuilder Taylor Wimpey has commissioned esteemed British artist Peter Randall-Page to create a stunning centrepiece for its Kingshill Grange development of apartments and houses for sale in High Wycombe.

His work, inspired by nature, is held in public and private collections throughout the world, and Peter is represented in the permanent collections of the Tate Gallery and British Museum. The sculpture he is creating for Kingshill Grange will reflect the beautiful setting of the exclusive new homes currently under construction, and is inspired by the tranquil, tree-lined green open space which runs along one side of this stunning collection of houses and flats in High Wycombe.

On his latest visit to the site, Peter explained: “One of the really exciting aspects of Kingshill Grange is its relationship with the open space and mature trees which border it – these are an amazing asset to the site and there is one fantastically proportioned specimen oak tree within that area from which I’m drawing a lot of my inspiration for this project.”

While the look of the finished sculpture and its positioning on site are remaining under wraps until later in the year, Peter plans to involve pupils at Highworth School and the Royal Grammar School in High Wycombe with art projects relating to the local environment, and this will include school visits to Kingshill Grange.

Selected new homes will enjoy their very own individual Peter Randall-Page designs in the finishing detail of the wrought iron gates and railings, which the artist is also helping to create.
