Five star rooms with a view in Amsterdam

The five star Hotel Okura Amsterdam has just completed the refurbishment of its superior rooms, providing business and leisure guests with even more comfort and light to enjoy the panoramic views of Amsterdam’s historic canals.

Hotel Okura Amsterdam is owned by Japanese hotel company Okura Hotels and Resorts and is a member of the Leading Hotels of the World. Located on the banks of the Amstel Canal, it holds three Michelin stars at its four restaurants and two bars, making it the ultimate place to stay and dine in the heart of the Dutch capital.

The spacious 28 square metre superior rooms have been created by British designer Jan Wilson from RPW Design; who also designed “The Suite” for the hotel in 2006, which is reputed to be the largest and most luxurious hotel suite in the Benelux countries.

Special emphasis has been placed on natural and warm colours within the rooms, whilst maximising the natural light of with a glass wall through to the bathroom, creating space, light and harmony. Guests can also adjust the mood of the lighting to suit the ever changing vista from the window.

Each superior room has the following key features: a 32 inch flat screen TV in the bedroom plus a media hub of telephone, TV and music being available in the walk in shower and bath tub. In addition the room features an internal power supply for laptop, WIFI internet connection and a large desk and chair.

A one night stay costs from €210 per room per night excluding breakfast and 5% city tax.
