The do's & don'ts of dance-floor etiquette

Are you one of those blokes with only one dance move in his arsenal? Or do you consider yourself a smooth operator and break-dancing show-off? Maybe you’re a girl who hides behind her girlfriends for fear of being outed as someone with two left feet?

Not all of us are born with dancing shoes on, and most of our friends are too polite to tell us when our finger-dance moves or permanent pouts just look daft. But surely there are some moves that are safe and even saucy enough to get the attention of a certain someone on the dance floor, even if you are trying to trip the light fantastic on a night out at the pub with your friends.

Fortunately there are professionals who know what’s right and wrong when it comes to a night on the tiles. Aoife Mulholland, star of West End hits ‘Chicago’ and ‘Legally Blonde’, knows a thing or two about dancing.
