15th July 2010 Print

Motorcyclists who purchase one of Honda’s selected adventure or touring machines this summer until 30 September, will be in line to receive complimentary luggage to fully equip their machine for some great riding adventures.

With more and more UK riders turning to touring and adventure riding than ever before, the need for sturdy, practical, secure and safe luggage from Honda Genuine Accessories, is the answer.

Customers who take a test ride and buy either a Honda XL1000V Varadero (standard or ABS) or the XL700VA Transalp will receive a free 45-litre colour-matched top-box and pannier set fitted to their new bike. Varadero owners will benefit from the extra luggage capacity of the 35-litre colour-matched panniers, while Transalp customers will enjoy the quality and style of the ‘alu-look’ 29-litre panniers supplied free with their XL700V, with the total package for either machine in excess of £1,000 RRP.

If more outright touring machines are more your thing, then check out the great NT700V Deauville. Each new Deauville purchased before the end of September will come fitted with a free 45-litre colour-matched top-box and large-pannier lid set, valued at more than £600 RRP.

Honda’s XL1000V Varadero has been in Honda’s range for more than a decade. In that time the machine has built up a huge following of fans who appreciate and the machine’s ability to rack up the miles in comfort and the usable torque from the 996cc V-twin motor. The ABS option also gives the peace of mind of anti-lock brakes.

Honda’s long-serving XL700VA Transalp has been in production more than 20 years and its 2008 updates of more power from the 680cc 52-degree V-twin gave a boost to the long-lived machine’s capabilities, as did the introduction of ABS as standard along with some stylish cosmetic upgrades.

The NTV700V Deauville is another popular and long-serving member of the Honda two-wheel family. The machine has become a by-word for reliability and ruggedness and has proved to be popular with commuters, paramedics and police forces across the globe. An ABS option offers peace of mind to those who want optimal braking in all conditions – whatever the weather.

With all three bikes offering the practicality, performance and utter dependability you only get from a Honda, as well as the ability to take both rider and pillion across miles of fun riding adventures in complete comfort, be sure to visit your local Honda dealer before 30 September 2010 and test ride these different machines.
