Crest Nicholson sponsors budding Beckhams in Wiltshire

Budding Beckhams at Marlborough’s St John’s School have received a welcome boost thanks to sponsorship from developer Crest Nicholson, which is currently building the St John’s Park development in the town.

As part of the sponsorship package, Crest Nicholson has provided the school with kit for three football teams – one for the Year Seven team and two others for the senior teams, which include players from Years Eight to Eleven. The stylish maroon and white kit will be sure give the teams a boost and dazzle the opposition.

The St John’s School teams, which previously had to play in their PE kits, are regular contenders in the local school league. The welcome addition of a professional kit is certain to give them a slicker, more professional presence on the field.

Laura Osborne, sales manager for Crest Nicholson, commented: “We have been really impressed with the St John’s School football teams, and we are certain there are a number of future Rooneys in the team who are on track to make England proud in the future.

“We have a strong relationship with the School and we are pleased to be able to extend our support of the School and the community by sponsoring the football team to make them look the part on the field.”

The football team has done particularly well this season and we are very grateful to receive this sponsorship as having a proper kit to play in will definitely make a difference to the morale and professionalism of the team.”
