Brits continue love affair with European travel

Recent research from Skyscanner has shown that European destinations are set to remain popular for UK travellers this summer. Spanish resorts such as Malaga, Alicante, Palma, Tenerife and Ibiza dominate the list.

While an EHIC entitles the holder to the equivalent medical care as a resident in that country, Post Office Travel Insurance reminds travellers that it does not cover the cost of repatriation, private treatment, or personal baggage. An additional travel insurance policy will also provide in case of delays, cancellations, theft and damage to property.
