The wait it almost over for Lancashire buyers looking for a new home in a coastal location.
Redrow will soon be launching its Harbour Village venture in Fleetwood, offering a range of properties to suit the tastes and budgets of almost every type of buyer.
Lesley Myers, area sales manager for Redrow Homes (Lancashire), said: “We’ve been building up a database of potential customers who are interested in purchasing a home at Harbour Village since we first announced plans to develop what was once a brownfield site.
“There’s been a lot of work involved in preparing the land for new homes – raising the site levels using sand dredged from the sea and constructing a lengthy entrance road. Now that the initial work is complete we are contacting all those people who enquired about the properties to update them on our progress as we’ll soon be taking reservations.”
The first phase of Harbour Village will offer a mix of two, three, and four-bedroom homes, including designs from Redrow’s New Heritage Collection of traditional looking properties with the latest statement making interiors. In later phases houses will be available facing the marina and some magnificent plots with views out over the estuary.
“Harbour Village will offer a good mix of properties, with something for everyone - from first time buyers starting out in life, to growing families in need of extra space to downsizers looking for a more manageable home,” Lesley commented.
“The sales and marketing suite will be opening on site from mid-August, enabling potential purchasers to find out more about the homes available before we start taking reservations.”
All of the homes at Harbour Village will boast Redrow’s high specification interiors including fashionable kitchens with floor to ceiling cabinets and top name appliances and sleek modern bathrooms with quality fixtures and fittings.
The site is bounded on the east by the Wyre Estuary, which is a Site of Special Scientific Interest - noted for its population of over wintering birds - and is also bounded to the south by the Fleetwood Marsh Nature Reserve, which is a Biological Heritage Site.
“Harbour Village offers a haven for those who work in Lancashire’s thriving towns and cities to retreat to. The true beauty of the area is not evident to the casual passer-by and really does have to be seen to be believed, so we hope people will come to site once our marketing suite is open.” Lesley commented.
