Taylor Wimpey customers Brad and Liz are the proud owners of their very own ‘showhome’ at the housebuilder’s Buckingham Park development of new homes in Aylesbury.

Young parents Brad Lemmon and Liz Hill are so impressed with their new Taylor Wimpey house in Aylesbury that they are only too pleased to open their doors so house-hunters can take a look inside.

Brad (29) and Liz (27) moved into their beautiful three-bedroom ‘Fyfield’ home at the leading housebuilder’s popular Buckingham Park development of apartments and houses for sale in Aylesbury in October 2009 – ready for the birth of their daughter Annabelle.

Now, almost a year later, they are happy to offer property-seekers a glimpse of what life is like in a brand new home within this sought-after community of Aylesbury flats and houses.

Brad, who works in the emergency services, says: “It’s a wonderful house, we absolutely love it. So we have been really happy to let others see what Taylor Wimpey houses in Aylesbury are actually like with people living in them – it’s a proper family home.”

Brad added: “We found you couldn’t get the same value for money in Hertfordshire, as you can elsewhere, and a friend who already lived at Buckingham Park suggested we looked there.

“We couldn’t believe the size of the house, and we instantly loved the location, so we were more or less sold straight away. But we had the problem of owning a flat in Hertfordshire, which we needed to sell.”

This is where Taylor Wimpey’s easymover came in – a stress-free scheme which sees the developer find a buyer for the purchaser’s current property. The housebuilder also paid Brad and Liz’s estate agency fees, and even covered the cost of stamp duty.

“It was a godsend for us,” says Brad.

“Although we were getting viewings on the flat, nobody was putting in any offers. So to end up in this amazing house just a few weeks later was a dream come true.”

The spacious ‘Fyfield’ family home boasts a stunning open plan kitchen/living area on the ground floor, while upstairs there’s a large reception room, two good-sized bedrooms and main bathroom off the first-floor landing. A breathtaking master suite occupies the top floor, complete with dressing area, en-suite bathroom and study.

Brad says: “The fact that all three bedrooms are of a good size really appealed to us – plus the study means there is potential to work from home or for a further play area for Annabelle.

“We overlook some lovely countryside and the development itself is excellent, with a good mix of people and plenty of children – which means lots of playmates for Annabelle when she’s older!

“There’s a doctor’s surgery a minute away, and a baby clinic on site, which is incredibly handy, and a school is being built here in the future.”

The fast commuter links to London also impress Brad, who is a mere 45 minutes away by train from his workplace in London.

A range of three, four and five-bedroom houses is currently on sale at Buckingham Park with prices starting from only £239,995.

The recent opening of the Aylesbury Vale Parkway rail station puts the development just one hour from Marylebone station, with trains running twice an hour at peak times, while commuters also enjoy excellent rail links to Oxford and Reading. Local bus routes provide connections to Gatwick, Heathrow and Luton airports, and the town centre is just a mile away.

More information on the new homes at Buckingham Park is available from the Sales Centre at 1 Prince Rupert Drive, Aylesbury, open seven days a week from 10am to 5pm Tuesday to Sunday and 1.30pm to 5pm on Monday.
