Wait is over for new show homes in Cambridgeshire

Two fabulous family themed show homes will open their doors in St Neots this weekend (September 18 / 19) when the latest phase of a popular new homes venture launches.
Showcasing the style and quality of Redrow’s New Heritage Collection at Priory Gardens, the new phase of the established and sought-after Loves Farm development, the show homes have been professionally styled and furnished by an expert team of interior designers.
The New Heritage Collection is a premium housing product with more than a hint of nostalgia, influenced by the ‘Arts and Crafts’ era, but boasting a specification to meet the needs of 21st century lifestyles. Redrow has deliberately set out to reintroduce a high degree of individuality to the way its homes look and feel, combining traditional exteriors and modern interiors.
Mary Timlin, sales director for Redrow Homes (South Midlands), said; “The emphasis for both of these show homes is the family and we’ve themed them to reflect all aspects of their lifestyle.
“Just like our New Heritage Collection homes, they combine the best of old and new, so we’ve effortlessly blended the keepsakes that a family may have brought with them from their previous homes with contemporary new furniture and cutting edge style.”
The four-bedroom Stratford has been designed to suit a family with a boy and girl under 10. The colour scheme is soft gold, cream with metallic accents. In the lounge, a subtle gold fabric complements the traditional dark wood furniture and offsets the stylish black fireplace. Metallic accessories and cream flowers give the room a contemporary edge.
The young girl’s room has a butterfly theme and features white furniture and an elegant white metallic bed frame. In the boy’s bedroom the designers have gone for a football theme, with a colour scheme of black and orange, ideal for a Wolverhampton Wanderers supporter and a link to Redrow’s chairman Steve Morgan, who is also chairman of Wolves Football Club.
In the three-bedroom ‘Broadway’ the designers have again chosen a beautiful blend of traditional and contemporary styles. An ivory and metallic colour palette is accented by rich reds running through the scheme. Solid oak furniture with thick weave upholstery in caramel tones harmonizes with the soft floral wallpaper in the open-plan lounge and dining room. A touch of glamour is added by a strong crystal and chrome ceiling light.
The sumptuous master bedroom, with en-suite, features silver damask wallpaper, highly polished chrome light fittings and French style furniture.
The family theme is reflected in the owl themed child’s room and the second bedroom has been made up as a guest room, with floral patterns, splashes of red and light oak furniture.
The new phase of luxury two, three and four-bedroom family homes, is located on the edge of St Neots, Cambridgeshire’s largest town and a place rich in history, culture and charm.
Prices of the homes from The New Heritage Collection at Priory Gardens will be confirmed at the launch.
Located just off the A1 and close to the A14 and M11, St Neots is described as ‘commuter heaven’ with great links to Bedford and Cambridge. The development is within walking distance of the train station, from where you can travel to London’s Kings Cross in 60 minutes.
Priory Gardens is also very close to the Great River Ouse, Paxton Pits Nature Reserve and Riverside Park, whilst St Neots town centre offers many shops, restaurants and entertainment venues.
To see Redrow’s New Heritage Collection in all its glory visit Priory Gardens for the sales launch on Saturday and Sunday, September 18 / 19.
The launch coincides with New Homes Month, which is running from September 4th and aims to highlight the overriding benefits that come with owning a brand new home compared to an older, second hand property; such as improved energy efficiency, easy maintenance and no requirements for renovation. Overseen by the New Homes Marketing Board, events will be taking place at new homes developments across the country.
