Free swimming for Barratt buyers in Eastleigh

Barratt has teamed up with Lakeside Multisports to offer buyers at its Lakeside development in Eastleigh free swimming.

The lake, situated in Eastleigh’s picturesque Lakeside Country Park has been a huge hit this summer offering open water swimming and 5k park runs every weekend.

Buyers at Barratt’s neighbouring development are able to take advantage of free open water swimming until the end of the season, saving them the usual cost of £5 per session.

Barratt sales director Mark Docherty said: “It’s fantastic to be able to link up with a local company and for the residents at our Lakeside development to have such a great offering next door. The country park is a beautiful area and we hope this encourages more people to visit it.”

Open water swimming is available at the country park on Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday mornings between 6am-8.45am and is run by managing director Martin Timby with business partner Brett Britton.

The development is located midway between the bustling and historic cities of Southampton and Winchester. There are excellent transport links, including regular bus services, and Southampton International Airport is only a 5 minute drive away.
