Property investors are urged to take advantage of the final opportunities to secure an apartment at George Wimpey’s Invito development of East London flats.

Would-be landlords are being urged to grab a slice of Invito – George Wimpey’s stylish development of new-build studios and apartments in Gants Hill, East London.

Occupying a sought-after location for City commuters, just a short stroll from Gants Hill Underground station and only 22 minutes from Central London on the Central Line, Invito and its award-winning and now sold-out sister development, Images, are prime territory for investors in search of the perfect flat in East London.

Landlords who have purchased flats in East London at Invito from developer George Wimpey are already enjoying rental yields of over 7% on their investments.

A stylish studio flat in Gants Hill, for example, priced at just £110,000 can command around £750 a month in rent, delivering an 8.1% yield.

One-bedroom apartments, available from only £155,000, can be rented out for around £950 and produce a yield of 7.3%

Meanwhile, properties in the London Borough of Redbridge added 7.5% value between July 2009 and July 2010*, and with Invito only five stops from Stratford, home of the 2012 London Olympics, it is in an area where values and rental potential are in a good position to continue to grow.

Michael O’Leary, Regional Sales and Marketing Director for George Wimpey, says: “Invito enjoys a prominent location in Redbridge, which means good landlords won’t have any trouble finding tenants to make their investment work for them.

“And with the Olympic Games under two years away, it’s as well to invest now, while prices are such great value.”

One-bedroom apartments feature a generous open-plan fitted kitchen with living/dining area, a good-sized bedroom and a separate bathroom. Many plots also benefit from attractive private balconies.

Just one studio remains for sale at Invito, and priced at just £110,000 it is an ideal property for City commuters. Its 312 sq ft layout includes a contemporary fitted kitchen, a light and airy living room, separate shower room off the private internal hallway and plenty of storage space.

Gants Hill lies two miles north of Ilford, about 12 miles from Central London and only four miles from Docklands.

In addition to excellent rail links, the A12, M25 and M11 are all within easy reach and London City Airport is just 12 miles from Invito and Stansted Airport is about 27 miles away.

Gants Hill has a choice of cafes, restaurants and shops, while nearby Ilford has a large selection of high street stores and an excellent shopping centre and a multi-screen cinema. Fairlop Waters in nearby Barkingside is an ideal place for a round of golf, wind-surfing, angling, powerboat sailing or horse-riding.

Invito Sales Centre is located off Bramley Crescent, Gants Hill. The sales centre is open Thursday to Monday from 10am to 5.30pm.
