Miller Homes to unveil show apartment at The Rock, Bury
The success of The Rock in Bury can only be described as phenomenal, with an estimated 1,559,000 visitors since opening on 16 July.
On Saturday 2 October the vision that created the largest retail, leisure and residential development to open in the UK in 2010 is made complete with the opening of the show apartment at ‘Miller Homes @ The Rock’ apartment development.
Miller Homes have confirmed that 41 of the 113 apartments have been sold off plan since July. This ranks the development as one of the house-builders fastest selling developments of all time. It further confirms the strength of the housing market which has seen a 6.7% increase in house prices in the past twelve months. The opening of a show apartment is expected to boost ‘Miller Homes @ The Rock’ sales further, when people can experience just how good living at this lifestyle destination can be.

Miller Homes is offering its MiWay scheme on a limited number of the properties. With MiWay, purchasers own 100% of the property from day one, yet pay from only 85% of the price before they move-in. The balance is provided by Miller Homes in the form of an equity loan, repayable over 10 years or when the property is sold. An advantage of the scheme is that the equity loan is interest free for the first five years and it helps place the buyer in a better position to secure a mortgage offer.
