One of Wiltshire’s newest property developments has proved a big success with over 50% of the development now sold.

And buyers have been so impressed by the selection of three and four-bedroom properties, the sales team has had to relocate into a new show home because the original has been snapped up by a keen buyer!

The development is called Newton’s Walk and is located in the village of Baydon. Nestled in the rolling hills of Wiltshire the development is being built by Chipping Sodbury based Redcliffe Homes and comprises six different styles of property.

With easy access to the M4 and within the catchment area of the renowned St Johns School in Marlborough, it’s easy to see why an assortment of buyers have been attracted to the development.

In addition Redcliffe Homes’ made-to-measure moving packages such as stamp duty, estate agents fees, legal fees, home removal or part exchange have helped make this development one of the most sought after in the region.

Margaret Horrocks, sales and marketing manager at Redcliffe Homes said: “With very few new developments in the area added to the location, build quality and size of the development it’s easy to see why Newton’s Walk has attracted a lot of interest.

“It goes to show that by having the right product in the right location is a recipe for success and this has been proved in Baydon.”

Equidistant to Marlborough, Hungerford and Swindon it is ideal for those who perhaps work in either of these towns and want to live in the countryside - Newbury is also close by.

Commuters to London would also find the development of interest especially when considering the cost of an annual train pass from nearby Hungerford which stands at £3,800 as opposed to £6,600 from Swindon.

Designed to blend in with the local surroundings each property has been architecturally designed and is spacious and fitted with modern appliances including integrated dishwasher and fridge/freezer.

The development also benefits from a private green which can be accessed via meandering paths around the development.

Baydon itself has a rich history and at 760 feet above sea level is located at the highest point of the county. Its thriving community has a number of active clubs and societies and those with young children will be interested to know that the village has a very well respected primary school.

For those who enjoy the great outdoors being located next to the Lambourn Downs offers plenty of walks including the Ridgeway National Trail that leads to the world famous Uffington White Horse.

Newton’s Walk is open Thursday to Monday from 10.00am to 5.00pm.

Prices at the development start from £235,000.
