With prices from £133,495 for a three bedroom home with the housebuilder’s popular Easystart shared equity scheme, George Wimpey isn’t expecting this final selection of homes to be around for long.

Under the Easystart scheme, first time buyers can own 100 per cent of a new home from day one but pay just 85 per cent of the price now. The other 15 per cent is offered by the housebuilder as an interest free loan to be repaid within 10 years*. Via the Easystart scheme only a 5% deposit is required, normally up to 20% is required when buying a new build home.

The scheme involves George Wimpey buying the purchaser’s current house from them, removing all the pressure involved with selling their house and leaving them free to move into their new home.
