Garage equipment suppliers enjoy two bites of the cherry

With the return of the CV Show and Workshop next April, garage equipment will once again take centre stage in Hall 4 of the NEC, Birmingham.

First up to book its stand was Unipart Group’s Garage Equipment Services, returning to Workshop 2011 in style with a major island site showing many of its suppliers’ latest equipment.  Commenting on its plans, marketing manager Shaun Wilson said, “Previous experience of the Workshop Show proves that it enables us to reach both passenger car and commercial vehicle workshop operators at one time.  As a full service one-stop shop, we are able to supply equipment from the smallest, hand-held diagnostic kit to a heavy truck lift.”

Garage Equipment Association chief executive, Dave Garratt, is also looking forward to some serious business for his members, as garages nationwide gear up for an upturn in the economy.  “It will be three years since the last CV Show.  Since then there have been so many developments and new products coming onto the market that anyone involved in this particular sector of the industry quite simply cannot afford to miss it!  The timing of the Show could not be better,” he said.

Lift specialist Stertil is another firm believer in the benefits of exhibiting.  “The CV Show and the dedicated Workshop area bring a unique audience to our stand, from major fleet workshops to vehicle test facilities,” said Stertil’s Tony Edge.  “No other UK event offers such a broad spectrum of visitor and, being a B2B Show, we have no tyre kickers to divert time away from real buyers.”

Full details of Workshop or the CV Show can be found at workshopshow.co.uk and cvshow.com or by calling Crystal Communications on 01634 261262.

The Commercial Vehicle Show, incorporating Workshop, is owned by the CV Show LLP, comprising the Road Haulage Association, the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders and IRTE Services Ltd, the trading company of the SOE (Society of Operations Engineers).  Crystal Communications will manage the Show organisation, stand sales and marketing.
