Nationwide e-Savings Plus - penalty free withdrawals increased

Nationwide Building Society has announced that, from 28 October 2010, the number of penalty free withdrawals on its e-Savings Plus account will be increased from three to five.

This is good news for savers, who are looking for increased flexibility and access to their savings during this period of increased austerity.

e-Savings Plus is an internet-based savings account paying a variable rate of 2.00% gross p.a./AER.  Customers who wish to make more than five withdrawals a year will be able to do so, but lower rates will apply for the full 12 months following the opening or anniversary of opening the account.

e-Savings Plus is available to Nationwide FlexAccount holders who also have access to Internet Banking.  Opening the account is quick, easy and is completed online with a minimum opening investment of £1 and a maximum balance of £3 million.

e-Savings Plus is part of Nationwide's easy and instant access savings portfolio, which also includes MySave Online Plus.
