Orange enhances Personal Line service for business customers
Orange has announced an update to its Personal Line service for business customers. The service, which is unique to Orange, allows business customers to combine two lines with separate numbers on the same phone, to enable their employees to make and send both personal and business calls and texts using a single device.
With Personal Line, businesses can offer a handset as a perk to employees, while being able to automatically split out monthly billing for business and personal calls – meaning a company will only pay for work-related calls. Individuals and businesses are sent bills specific to them that are easy to understand, and take away the pain of having to manually deduct any personal calls from a business bill.
Employees are able to benefit from competitive call, text and data rates for the personal element of the plan, and also have a ‘free’ phone for their personal use – so they don’t have to invest in or carry around a separate personal device, meaning they can stay in touch easily with family and friends as well as work colleagues from the same phone.
Customers who sign up to Personal Line now have even more choice in the way they use the service, with three plans available to cater for individual phone use preferences and the option to tailor the plan by adding a flexible benefit – giving the choice of either text or data inclusive extras.
The service offers three plans to suit all business customers – and the different ways in which their employees use their phones, with options for those who prefer to keep things simple, right through to those who just love to talk.
Personal Line – the basic plan is a suitable alternative for those who prefer a simple, pay as you go type of deal, with competitive call rates
Personal Line 300 – includes 300 anytime, any network minutes in the UK
Personal Line 600 – provides 600 anytime any network minutes in the UK
Customers choosing either the Personal Line 300 or Personal Line 600 plan can additionally select a flexible benefit* dependent on their preferred phone use. A text option offers more anytime texts and unlimited evening and weekend texts, which can be used to keep in touch with friends and family. The alternative is an inclusive 500MB data allowance that can be used for web browsing, personal email on the phone or even as a data connection for a laptop.
Max Taylor, Director of Corporate Marketing at Everything Everywhere – the company that runs Orange – said: “Being able to use a work phone for personal calls while keeping the bills separate is really handy for businesses and their employees. We’ve made it even more convenient by adding on optional allowances for the things we know people love to be able to use their phones for on an everyday basis – browsing the web, sending emails or just having the ability to use an additional, inclusive number of texts. It’s good for employers too. Because of the split billing functionality that Personal Line offers, businesses can rest easy that they’ll be able to give their employees a company mobile without the potential hassle that this can cause. Additionally, as Personal Line eliminates the need for individuals to carry more than one phone, they can keep in touch easily whether the phone is being used for business or leisure.”
Personal Line is available immediately for all business customers. Visit the Orange business website for a full range of compatible devices and pricing.
