New home and new baby for couple in Chorley

Life just couldn’t be any better for Laura and Mark Williams and their new baby daughter Mia. Laura and Mark are the proud owners of a brand new home at Miller Homes’ Birkacre Park development in Chorley and have just welcomed their first child.
Baby Mia, who weighed-in at 8lb 3oz, is the first baby to be born at the development and is keeping her mum very busy. Laura says: “For such a tiny baby she really is keeping me on my toes! We can’t quite believe how lucky we are. We have a lovely new home and a gorgeous baby girl – what more could we want.”
Laura and Mark chose a 3 bedroom ‘Rydal Special’ house style. They purchased their new home with the help of the Government backed HomeBuy Direct [HBD] scheme aimed at helping first time buyers onto the property ladder. Time for a new home on the HBD scheme has now expired so Miller Homes have introduced its MiWay option, which enables home buyers to purchase 100% of a home from day one. Purchasers simply need to arrange finance for 85% of the price and Miller Homes provides a loan for the remaining 15%. The loan is interest free for the first five years and just 3% annual interest payable on the outstanding balance for the remaining five years of the term [5.4% APR typical].
Without such support Laura and Mark would never have been able to buy a brand new home. Laura continues: “When we heard about HomeBuy Direct we couldn’t believe it. We are so lucky to find such a beautiful house in the perfect location. We have never bought a brand new home before. It’s just so exciting to think that no one else has ever lived here. It’s amazing.”
The ‘Rydal Special’ has a large lounge / dining room at the rear of the house, with French doors opening out onto the garden. The bright airy master bedroom has its own en-suite and is ideal for family living as Laura explains: “What is perfect is that it is so quiet. The area is fabulous. It’s like living in the countryside but with everything you need close by. The garden is lovely and will be great for Mia when she is growing up.”
The location of Birkacre Park is also convenient for Laura and Mark with family close by in Euxton and easy for Mark to get to work.
