Andorra
A simple three-hour drive from Barcelona, Andorra is situated slap bang in the Pyrenees between France and Spain. Known as being a no-frills winter destination, popular with party-loving skiers and boarders, Andorra is an excellent choice for beginners and early intermediates. The ski schools are good, the lift systems are modern and efficient and the snow is pretty reliable.

Granada
An easy two-hour drive from Malaga, Granada is Spain's number one location for winter sports, with the Sierra Nevada offering the best snow and the longest season in the country.
