New models launched in Milan, next stop Motorcycle Live

Aprilia finally put an end to speculation about the long-awaited naked version of the almighty RSV4 superbike with the launch of the Tuono V4R. Taking the impressive V4 162 HP engine that dominated the 2010 World Superbike Championship and encasing it in an aluminium dual beam chassis, the new Aprilia boasts power never before installed on a naked.

Ducati impressed the Milan crowd with the stunning new Diavel – a light and agile 163hp, twin-cylinder machine packed with state-of-the-art technology and boasting extraordinary riding pleasure. The new model will be available from January 2011 in two versions – the Diavel and the flagship Diavel Carbon. The latter features a mix of aesthetic and performance components from carbon fibre bodywork to forged and specially-machined Marchesini wheels.

On the non-Italian front, Honda chose to wait until Milan to reveal its ten new or updated models for 2011 – including the CBR125R entry-level sports bike and an updated version of the CBR600F. It also unveiled the Crossrunner – a 800cc V4 naked performance bike with the rugged appearance of an adventure bike.
