Honda has some great action-packed activities in store for this year’s Motorcycle Live event at the NEC (27 November – 5 December) to ensure visitors really get the full Honda experience.

Activities include the first UK unveiling of Honda’s new-for-2011 models, three world exclusive announcements, star rider and celebrity appearances, audience interactive entertainment and ‘Happy Hour’ at the weekends, ‘My First Licence’ for children, race team ‘workshops’ with BSB Championship winning team HM Plant Honda and, an exclusive competition in association with Sony to win some incredible prizes, including a Honda CB600F Hornet.

The ‘Honda village’ presence at Motorcycle Live over the nine days of the event includes four stands in Hall 4. The main Honda stand (G220) will host the current and incredible new-for-2011 range of bikes, the innovative rider trainer for those wanting to experience life on two wheels in the safety of a static environment, rider and celebrity appearances, race bikes on display, the Honda Racing cafe, technical helpdesk, weekend Happy Hour, audience involved entertainment and great competitions. A full timetable of Honda activity will be available on the Honda stand at Motorcycle Live.

Honda’s unique ‘My First Licence’ (stand G250) will run every day where children aged between 5 and 11 can experience riding a bike around a specially constructed street scene to experience the fun of two wheels, learn about road safety and, come away with their very own printed mock licence.

Honda's great and latest range of merchandise, clothing and accessories is also available to view and buy (stand G350). From trendy t-shirts, fleeces, hoodies, jackets, leathers and textile bike gear, to retro bike cups and saucers and Honda branded items, there's something for everyone.

The Honda village is completed with the presence of Honda (UK) Racing (stand G260). With an impressive 21 year history, Honda (UK) Racing, under the current HM Plant Honda guise, this year won the BSB Championship with Ryuichi Kiyonari and Motorcycle Live visitors can visit Honda's 'race garage' to meet the riders, learn more about life in a race team and all about bike set-up.

A host of Honda’s famous star riders from track, road and off-road will be on hand during the course of the event. MotoGP star Dani Pedrosa, this year’s BSB Champion Ryuichi Kiyonari, World Superbike ace Jonathan Rea, TT legend John McGuinness and many more, will all be available on selected days (to be announced) to spend time chatting with visitors within the Honda village.

Honda riders and key Honda personnel will also be taking part in various chat shows and activities on the ‘Main Stage’ throughout the duration of the event and, a range of Honda bikes will also be available to test ride out on the roads, with some of Honda’s great 125cc geared machines and scooters further available in the ‘Get On’ indoor area where people can learn more about life on two wheels and ‘have a go’ with free taster rides.

Whether you enjoy riding on the road, track or off-road, for leisure or for work, on a small capacity scooter like the all-new PCX125 or a bigger engine tourer for the open road, Honda Motorcycles offers a range of bikes for every purpose and level of riding experience and looks forward to welcoming you to the Honda village at Motorcycle Live.
