The wait is over as Kingston Mills

The much awaited launch of Kingston Mills, Linden Homes Western’s landmark development in Bradford-on-Avon, is due to take place on Saturday 20 November from 10am, with the opening of ‘Lamb Yard’; fifteen 1 and 2 bedroom refurbished apartments, located on the former rubber factory site.
This date marks an exciting time as people will finally be able to catch a glimpse of this sought-after development.
The Mayor of Bradford, Isabel Martindale, cut the official ribbon earlier in the week in a viewing for several councillors and members who’ve been involved in the planning process. Commenting on the opening of the development she said: “As Mayor of the town I’m absolutely delighted than Linden Homes have been able to develop the site despite the national economic climate. It’s been wonderful to be a part of the opening of this very exciting development and I’m glad that it has fallen during my time as Mayor.”
Excitement has been building and from Saturday the public will be able to take a look around the sales and marketing suite, a 2 bedroom show apartment and a 1 bedroom view home which will all showcase what life could be like living in this beautiful picturesque town.
Rowena Miles, sales and marketing director at Linden Homes Western comments: “There’s been great interest in the build up to the launch of Kingston Mills and we’re expecting the open weekend to be popular, as purchasers will be able to take their first glance at the beautifully refurbished apartments.
“As interest has been so high we would recommend that people looking to buy come along as early as possible to get the pick of the plots and to avoid disappointment.”
Situated right in the centre of the town, alongside the river Avon, Kingston Mills is truly a desirable place to live. Ideally located moments away from specialist shops, open air cafes and numerous restaurants, Bradford-on-Avon has everything you would need for everyday life, but for shopping further afield, the cities of Bath and Salisbury are within 35 miles*. For commuters the M4 is easily accessible and Bradford-on-Avon train station is within walking distance.
Kingston Mills is an important landmark development in the heart of Bradford-on-Avon and the scheme will eventually provide new office space, cafes, restaurants, a convenience store and 170 new homes. 30 per cent of the homes built will be for rent or part ownership – a great boost for an area where opportunities for affordable homes have been scarce up until now. The collaboration between Linden Homes, the Homes and Communities Agency (HCA), Wiltshire Council and Selwood Housing Association means there will be a supply of affordable homes for local people within the town.
With prices starting from only £165,000, make sure you have Saturday 20 November in your diary and visit the opening of ‘Lamb Yard’ at Kingston Mills.
