Phoenix has it all at Motorcycle Live!
After recent expansion Phoenix has a great deal going on at this year’s Carole Nash Motorcycle Live event, which runs from 27 November through to 5 December at the NEC Birmingham.
On show on stand R320 will be the 2011 ranges from Yoshimura, Abus, Kappa, Pinlock, VentureShield, Fine Vision and Shift-It and as a one-off show special anyone who buys a VentureShield kit for their helmet will have it fitted for free!
Nolan are bringing their brand new and mightily impressive event truck to Motorcycle Live and, fittingly, 2010 MotoGP champion Jorge Lorenzo will be opening the entire event at 10.30am on Saturday 27th. The UK line-up of helmets from Nolan, Grex and X-Lite – including the helmet that Lorenzo helped develop, the X-Lite X-802 – will be on display and a competition to win an X-802, signed by the World Champion, will be running for the duration of the show.
Nolan will also be demonstrating their N-Com communication system, which seamlessly connects the rider to a passenger (either wired or via Bluetooth), other riders, or the rest of the world via a mobile phone. Many helmets in the Nolan Group range are N-Com ready; the system is also easy to fit and readily transferrable between helmets. A new universal system will also be available to try which will fit any helmet brand.
As a bonus anyone buying an X-Lite or Nolan helmet at the show will get a free Shift-It helmet sample care kit containing visor and helmet cleaner, deodorizer and polishing cloth.
REV’IT! will be showing off their brand new 2011 GORE-TEX range of motorcycle clothing on stand R320 and B210. Tough, easy to wear and superb high quality, the REV’IT! line of Adventure Sports clothing was recently used by the Marley brothers Ziggy, Rohan and Robbie in their quest across Africa riding Ducati Multistradas.
GORE-TEX® will have a representative on hand on 3rd and 4th December to talk about the technical aspects of producing waterproof, breathable fabric and answer any questions. Autograph-hunters will be in heaven over the first few days as MotoGP hard-man Randy de Puniet, and rising star Alvaro Bautista – both wearers of REV’IT! racing suits – will be at the show, signing autographs on the REV’IT! stand.
Anybody taking part in the Test Ride Zone will have the chance to wear REV’IT! as it will be supplied to all participants ensuring a safe, warm and comfortable new bike riding experience. Star of cult TV show Red Dwarf Danny John-Jules and his travelling companion Graham Hoskins need no introduction to REV’IT!; both rode nearly 7000 miles, through 3 continents and 17 countries, circumnavigating the Mediterranean in just 16 days, for Sport Relief 2010. They each rode a Honda Transalp and wore REV’IT!, testing hard every single item of clothing. Danny and Graham will be at Motorcycle Live talking about their exploits on the bike and small screen.
