As wedding fever grips the country, 2011 is the perfect year to say “I do”. The showstopper of the year – the wedding of Prince William and his bride to be Catherine Middleton – which will take place on Friday 29th April at Westminster Abbey, is guaranteed to spur many on who just haven’t quite got round to tying the knot... a little like the Royal couple!

So, if you’d like to have your wedding during the same year - or even on the same day - as William and Catherine you may like to consider Hodsock Priory – as your unique wedding venue that’s fit for a King. (Well a future one anyway!)

The picturesque Priory, located on the border of South Yorkshire and North Nottinghamshire, nestles within the heart of the 800 acre Hodsock estate which hosts the annual snowdrops spectacular each February. It provides a perfect backdrop for a stunning ceremony, creative photographs and a celebration that you will remember forever.

“We are one of the most unique wedding venues in the area and are very proud of what we offer to our wedding couples,” commented George Buchanan ninth generation resident and general manager Hodsock Priory. “We warmly invite happy couples to enjoy our beautiful home for their big day and be confident of being treated just like royalty.”
Hodsock Priory can comfortably host wedding parties of up to 130 guests in its bespoke Pavilion or, for larger gatherings, the wedding marquee can be utilised on the Italian terrace that will allow up to 500 guests to celebrate the special occasion.

Three guest bedrooms, including the Bridal Suite, are located within the Priory and are complemented by ten luxury suites opened only a few weeks ago and located at ‘The Courtyard at Hodsock’ just a moments walk from the Priory.
“We are very good at what we do and are able to offer help and advice during the planning of a wedding to ensure the special couple have day of their dreams,” said George. “The whole team wants all wedding guests to have a day to remember for all the right reasons and, whilst we can’t say you’ll be King or Queen any time soon, we do believe that anyone choosing to celebrate their wedding at Hodsock Priory will definitely feel like the Lord and Lady for just a day or so!”

There is still some availability for weddings throughout 2011. For further details visit: hodsockpriory.com
