mydeposits slashes joining fee to £10
mydeposits.co.uk is reducing its joining fee for all landlords this winter to just £10 - a massive saving of £47.50 for new landlords joining the scheme.
Landlords can sign up to the insurance-based tenancy deposit protection scheme for the one off flat fee during December and January, down from the normal fee of £57.50. Protection fees still apply.
my|deposits is the only scheme specifically designed to allow landlords to hold onto the tenancy deposit themselves during tenancies.
Eddie Hooker, Chief Executive, mydeposits.co.uk, commented: "Our winter promotion is the perfect opportunity for landlords to sign up to my|deposits at a great price of just £10.
"Once a landlord has signed up, they are a member of my|deposits for life and can protect their tenant's deposits as they need to.
"Landlords can take control over the safeguarding of the deposit, which evidence now shows dramatically improves and speeds up the end of tenancy relationship with the tenant where there is no dispute. This is the case in the vast number of tenancies."
my|deposits offers a free dispute resolution service, recently commended by the judges at the CEDR International Dispute Resolution Awards in London, if there is a disagreement between the landlord and tenant over how much of the deposit should be returned. This avoids the need to go to court.
The discounted joining fee is available to new members who sign up online between 1 December 2010 and 31 January 2011.
