Magic is afoot at Taylor Wimpey’s Old Kiln Lakes development in Chinnor, as two bedrooms in its Langdon showhome have been turned into scenes from Harry Potter.

Following the recent release of the latest blockbuster film a spell has been cast on the five bedroom Langdon showhome with one bedroom being transformed into a quidditch pitch and the second decorated in the theme of Hogwarts castle.

With a Hogwarts School banner and Gryffindor colour scheme adorning the quidditch pitch room, children will feel like they’re one of Harry Potter’s class mates. They’ll want to cheer him on as they see Harry zooming around the room on his broomstick, threatening to burst through the wall at any moment as he attempts to catch the Golden Snitch.

Parents will have no problem getting the kids off to bed in the second bedroom as the spellbinding décor of the castle room will ensure every bed time is a magical occurrence. With enchanting motifs of Hogwarts Castle on the walls, orb lighting on the bedside tables and spotlights in the ceiling budding wizards and witches will feel they’re sleeping under a magical, starry sky. The effect is complete with a grand four poster bed and enchanted cushions with charm names.

Chris Ashmore, regional sales and marketing director for Taylor Wimpey, comments: “Old Kiln Lakes is already a stunning development, but we’ve added more magic to it by creating these fantastic bedrooms in our Langdon show home. Kids will love the bedrooms and adults will too as they’ll have no problem in getting them off to bed!
