The long wait is nearly over for house hunters wanting to see inside new Redrow homes in Fleetwood.

Interest in the properties at Harbour Village has been high since long before the development launched in the summer, but until now purchasers have been buying off-plan or travelling to Chorley to visit show homes from the New Heritage Collection.

But with two new homes open for viewing from January 22nd customers will be able to fully experience everything that the properties at Harbour Village can offer as a lived-in home.

Christine Aitken, sales director for Redrow Homes (Lancashire), commented: “While some people have had the confidence to buy off plan, for others being able to view a show home is an essential part of the home buying process as it brings the floor plans to life and enables them to appreciate the quality and finish of the homes. With that in mind we’re opening the doors to two show homes that have been dressed to impress by a team of professional interior designers.”

Designed in response to customer feedback, the New Heritage Collection is a premium housing product full of family friendly features. Inspired by the Arts and Crafts movement, but with stylish interiors to meet the demands of 21st century living, the properties combine the best of old and new.

The decorative roof line of the four-bedroom ‘Windsor’ gives the property a ‘period’ feel and is a prime example of why this type of design has stood the test of time.

“The interior designers have taken inspiration from the stunning coastal location that Harbour Village enjoys,” Christine explained.

“For example, the ‘Windsor’ features sandy colours with touches of gold; while the three-bedroom ‘Kenilworth’ has a nautical theme. Giving a nod to the prestige of the tower ballroom in the neighbouring town of Blackpool one of the bedrooms in the ‘Windsor’ has a ballroom dancing theme and is complete with a glitter ball.”

The ‘Kenilworth’ is set out over three floors, maximising the true potential of the space available. On the first floor there are two bedrooms, a family bathroom and a dedicated study; while up on the top floor is the impressive master bedroom complete with en-suite.

“Visitors to Harbour Village will be pleasantly surprised at what’s included as standard in our New Heritage Collection homes as we offer a specification that’s unrivalled among most of our peers,” Christine explained.

“Kitchens are fitted with top brand name integrated appliances, including ovens, microwaves and fridge-freezers, plus under unit lighting; while the floor to ceiling cabinets and extra wide drawers offer plenty of storage. The Redrow standard specification also includes built-in book shelves and outside lights and in the bathrooms you’ll discover quality fixtures and fittings, and a shower over the bath with an exclusive tile range.”

To be among the first to see inside the show homes at Harbour Village, visit the development in Amouderness Way from January 22nd.
