Moving to a brand new home at Taylor Wimpey’s The Romans at Augusta Park development of new homes in Andover was one of the highlights of a busy year for Duncan and Kelly Jones.

They say good things come in threes – and that’s certainly been the case for Duncan and Kelly Jones, whose action-packed past 12 months began with the reservation of a brand new home at Taylor Wimpey’s Augusta Park development of property for sale in Andover.

Following the move to their ideal home at the development of houses for sale in Andover, chef Duncan (34) started his own business before the couple’s first child, Emily Alexandra, was born in October.

“It’s certainly been a busy year,” says Duncan, now the proud owner of a beautiful three-bedroom ‘Chedworth’ property in Andover at Taylor Wimpey’s The Romans at Augusta Park.

“But, despite all the changes, we’ve settled right in at the development. We had been looking at properties in Newbury or Andover, and found that The Romans offered the very best value for money.”

The Joneses are also thrilled with the new community that is steadily growing as more people take their place in the new houses in Andover at Augusta Park.

“It’s perfect for families with children,” adds Duncan. “In fact, a couple with a baby live next door to us, and another young family lives three doors away, so it’s been great for Kelly, who has made friends with the new mums in the area.

“One of the mums hosts a coffee morning every Thursday, and around the corner is a nursery. It really is good to have so many new parents around.”

The location of The Romans at Augusta Park also gets a big thumbs-up from Duncan, who left Marco Pierre White’s The Yew Tree, in Highclere, to work for himself.

“I now cook for people in their own homes, for shooting parties, dinner parties and so on,” he explains. “So being based close to the Hampshire and Berkshire borders, puts me in a great position for getting out to see my clients.”

Being a chef, Duncan was also delighted with the kitchen in his Taylor Wimpey home, adding; “I grew up in a similar sized-house, but in that the kitchen was tiny. Ours, though, is a very good size, with plenty of work surfaces and good quality appliances.”

A range of new homes to suit all types of buyer are available to buy now at The Romans at Augusta Park, including two-bedroom coach house-style apartments from just £159,995, three-bedroom houses from as little as £194,995 and four-bedroom houses from only £239,995.

Details on the new homes for sale at The Romans at Augusta Park can visit the Sales Information Centre located off Icknield Way, Andover, and open seven days a week from 10.30am to 5.30pm.
