Take on World Champ Wolfie in a darts challenge at Truckfest

BDO World Darts Champion Martin ‘Wolfie’ Adams is challenging truckers and visitors to Truckfest Peterborough to a game of arrows when the legendary family event returns to the East of England Showground, Peterborough, on Sunday 1st and Monday 2nd May.

2011 sees the launch of the Truckfest Darts Challenge at Truckfest Peterborough and this is your chance to take on 'Wolfie' to win cash prizes and the Truckfest darts trophy. As well as just retaining the BDO World title for the third time, 'Wolfie' is ranked BDO World Number one and is the reigning World Masters Champion too so get practising!

Each day Wolfie will play against the public in a tournament. Only 20 places are available so to be selected to play, you must enter your details online at truckfest.co.uk, answer a simple question and then tell us why you are the player to beat Wolfie on the ochie.

The lucky participants will be notified two weeks before the event so they can get prepared to face the biggest name in darts. All the competition and prize details can be found at truckfest.co.uk.

Truckfest is well known for its fantastic family entertainment with its amazing decorated vehicles, monster trucks, stunt drivers, favourite TV stars, and much more to keep people of all ages entertained throughout the two-day event or longer if you fancy pitching up a tent or bringing your caravan along.

Camping and caravanning facilities are on offer from lunchtime on Friday so make the most of the Bank Holiday weekend. Saturday night’s entertainment includes country music’s Ron Ryan and his Country Knights, the Electric Light Parade and spectacular fireworks show. Sunday night the party steps up a gear as we introduce Mercury, one of the most authentic tributes to Freddie Mercury and Queen that is guaranteed to rock you!

A fun fair, children’s cartoon characters and hundreds of trade stands, make it a bank holiday weekend not to be missed.

Truckfest is open from 9am until 5.30pm. Day Tickets are available £14.50 for adults in advance and £16.50 on the day. Children’s tickets are just £6.50 in advance or £8.50 on the day.
