Rugby tour specialist, Gullivers Sports Travel has announced that it will be hosting three night rugby tours from 15-18 April at Condover Hall near Shrewsbury for players aged 7-12 years old.

Perfect for those young’uns looking to perfect their game, the rugby tour will be combined with outdoor activities at Condover Hall, the magnificent grade I listed manor house. Accompanied by parents, teachers and coaches, during the rugby celebration up to 450 keen youngsters from rugby clubs across Britain will stay at the Condover residential activity centre set in the spectacular Shropshire countryside.

The highlight of the tour will be when the budding Mike Tindalls travel the short journey to Telford Rugby Club to enjoy the Telford Hornets Mini/Midi Festival. Here they will be treated to a fun packed day, showing off their skills by competing against other rugby teams. Rewarding them for their hard work, trophies will be presented to winners and runners up in each age group at the end of the exhilarating team break.

The newly renovated Condover Hall will offer a range of exhilarating activities for students such as high ropes, abseiling, archery, buggy building, climbing, fencing, mini Olympics and swimming. Adding to the experience, there are state-of-the-art themed rooms in the main building with tantalising names including the ‘Laser Room’ and ‘Spells Room’.

Neil Rayer, General Manager, Gullivers Sports Travel, commented: “Hosting this rugby trip at Condover Hall means children will be able to get the best of both worlds; the chance to attend and compete at the Telford Hornets Mini/Midi Festival and an opportunity to try all the fantastic sports and educational facilities in the hall’s grounds to build team spirit.”
