AA Savings increases Internet Extra interest rate

The interest rate of the AA's Internet Extra instant-access savings account has increased to 2.80% gross pa/AER.

The new rate became effective on Monday 14 February for existing issue 4 account holders as well as new savers.  The previous rate was 2.60%.

The rate applies for investments from £1 to £1m and places it within the best-buy tables.

Interest is paid on the anniversary of the first deposit, either into the account or a linked bank account.

The account is opened and managed online at theAA.com, offering unlimited investments and withdrawals.
