The Harvey family have a safe landing at Chrysalis
With their heads often in the clouds the Harvey’s thought that finding a new home would be a challenge, but with the help of Taylor Wimpey the airline employees landed perfectly and with ease at its Chrysalis development at Buckingham Park in Aylesbury.
Husband and wife Anji, 29, and Marc, 50, both work for airlines and with three young children they needed to find a home that suited all their needs and in a location convenient for their places of work.
At Taylor Wimpey’s Chrysalis at Buckingham Park development they found just what they were looking for. They have just moved into their four bedroom Fairfield house type on the development and are delighted with their choice.
Mrs Harvey said: “I work as cabin crew for Virgin Atlantic so I could be working out of Heathrow or Gatwick, while Marc is ground staff and works from Luton airport. Previously we lived near Stanstead, so there was no doubt that we needed a more convenient location - we were very happy when we found Chrysalis.
“The Fairfield happened to be the showhome so we were able to look around the property and visualise how we would have it. We had a basic wish list – downstairs WC, ensuite in the master bedroom, and a separate dining room – and the Fairfield ticked all the boxes and more. We bought our house off plan and we have just moved in.
“The whole process has been really delightful and Taylor Wimpey has been so flexible and relaxed. We took advantage of their part exchange offer and we never felt under pressure - they made it so easy for us. The house is everything we imagined and we really feel it is home now.”
The Harvey children are just as pleased. Mrs Harvey continued: “With four double bedrooms there is plenty of space. Our two boys Jake, 9 and Dylan, 6, are sharing because the room is so spacious and we have set up the bedroom opposite as the children’s playroom so we can keep the lounge as the grown up’s space. The boys also have their own bathroom on their floor which is great. Jasmine, who is four, has her own proper little girl’s room too. All in all we’re over the moon.”
