Lancashire homebuyers can discover the smart way to move up the property ladder at a special event hosted by Redrow in Fleetwood.

The award-winning housebuilder is holding a part-exchange weekend at its Harbour Village development in the seaside town. On Saturday, April 16 and Sunday, April 17 Redrow’s friendly, experienced sales team will be on hand to explain the advantages of trading in your current property as part-payment for a bigger, better, brand new home.

Lesley Myers, area sales manager for Redrow Homes (Lancashire), commented: “We’re continuing to attract a good level of interest from potential purchasers who are keen to snap up a home at Harbour Village. While they are bowled over by the high specification and quality fixtures and fittings we offer as standard, many are reluctant to make a commitment as they have an existing property to sell.

“That’s where part-exchange can really help them. It’s simple, straight forward and designed to let them move up the property ladder using their old home to part fund the move.”

Under part-exchange Redrow effectively acts as a cash buyer for the customer’s property.

“Part-exchange means our clients can look forward to moving day as they’ll be offered a fair price for their old home within seven days, they won’t have to worry about being caught up in a complicated chain and there are no estate agent’s fees for them to pay. It’s the smart way to move up the property ladder,” Lesley added.

Current availability at Harbour Village includes a choice of three and four-bedroom homes in a range of styles with prices ranging from £167,995 to £249,995.

Traditional on the outside, inside the properties are bright, modern and full of family friendly features designed to meet the demands of 21st century living.

Kitchens boast the convenience of integrated top brand name appliances, plus tall units and extra wide drawers that offer plenty of storage; while bathrooms and en-suites enjoy quality fixtures and fittings with an exclusive tile range.

“It would cost around £30,000 to bring an older, three-bedroom property up to the same high standard of one our new homes at Harbour Village. The cost of installing one of our fabulous kitchens including the same high quality fixtures, fittings and appliances in an older property would be around £6,000, plus you would have the inconvenience of not being able to use your kitchen while the work is carried out,” Lesley added.

The part-exchange event takes place at Harbour Village on April 16 and 17. Join Redrow between 11am and 4pm to discover the easy way to own a brand new home.
