The first of 12 new homes in Wrea Green has been sold and potential purchasers are showing a keen interest in the remaining properties.

Currently being sold off-plan from a Redrow Homes’ development in Chorley, the lack of anything to see in Wrea Green certainly hasn’t worried prospective home owners.

“We already had a database of people who had expressed an interest in the new homes at Wrea Green and they’ve been happy to travel to Buckshaw Village, near Chorley, to view plans and images. One eager customer has already seized the opportunity to reserve their preferred plot at this early stage,” said Lesley Myers, area sales manager for Redrow Homes (Lancashire).

“We’ve now dedicated a special sales area within our ‘Balmoral’ view home at Sandy Lane, in Buckshaw Village, so they can get a feel for the quality of our properties and their finish.”

Homes at Wrea Green will feature a similar high specification to that within the properties at Sandy Lane, although their exteriors have been given a bespoke makeover to suit a location that’s frequently been voted Lancashire’s best-kept village.

Prices at Wrea Green start from £424,995 for a four-bedroom property, with five-bedroom styles on the market from £531,995.

Inspired by the architecture of the Arts and Crafts era, they look traditional from the outside and are in keeping with the area; while inside they are bright, modern and full of family friendly features.

While Redrow’s New Heritage Collection is already a premium housing product, Wrea Green offers a superior specification. Raised ceiling heights will emphasise the light and airy nature of the homes; granite work surfaces will be fitted as standard in the kitchens, with most of the properties benefiting from American-style fridge freezers.

“Buying a home off plan, before it’s physically built means you have more opportunities to personalise it to your taste and lifestyle needs. Customers will be able to choose from an exclusive range of tiles for the bathroom and en-suite as well as selecting their preferred finish for the tall kitchen units and extra wide drawers, and even the light switches,” Lesley explained.

Easy access to the M55 makes Wrea Green a popular choice for commuters who want to enjoy quintessential village living away from the hustle and bustle of 21st century living.

“The desirability of the area coupled with the fact we now have only 11 homes to sell means would be home owners should act fast,” said Lesley.
