28th April 2011 Print

Olives Restaurant, 140 Gloucester Road, London SW7 4QH, has been awarded its first AA Rosette for achieving standards which stand out in the local area.

Olives is further commended for serving food prepared with care, understanding and skill, using good-quality ingredients.

The Italian restaurant, which is housed within Millennium Bailey’s Hotel, has gone from strength to strength since its refurbishment in 2010, attracting an enviable quota of repeat business.

Millennium Bailey’s General Manager commented: “To receive an AA Rosette for Olives just one year after the re-launch of the Restaurant under the direction of Head Chef, Davide Di Croce, along with Restaurant Manager, Davide Fumagalli, is a testimony to their expertise, passion and dedication.  A dramatic increase in customers has been seen, with the restaurant frequently achieving between 150 and 200 covers daily.”

Davide Di Croce’s menu, which combines classic dishes with rustic influences, includes such dishes as Arrosto di Maiale (slow-cooked pork), Branzino (sea bass Mediterranean) and Involtini di Melanzana (stuffed aubergine), while a choice of 55 wines adds to the overall experience and conviviality.
