There has been a flurry of sales at Osmund Fields

New home sales in Salisbury are on the up, a Fareham-based housebuilder has reported.

Sales director for Persimmon Homes South Coast, Rob Allen, has announced a flurry of property sales at its Osmund Fields development – currently averaging close on three per week – generating a sales revenue of more than £2.5m.

Featuring a mix of three and four bedroom homes at the development, Rob believes the traditional designs have struck a chord with buyers in the region. He comments: “Despite the ongoing challenges in the business environment, there are people visiting our showhomes and marketing suites who genuinely want to buy, evident in the number of properties we have sold over the past few weeks, indeed such has been the success that only three properties now remain for sale.

“There definitely seems to be an air of optimism locally; the interest rate is just 0.5 per cent and house prices are at an all time competitive low, which have tempted people to make the move now.”

Three bedroom homes at Osmund Fields, currently available with the Government HomeBuy Direct initiative, are currently priced from just £167,965.

Homes at Osmund boast eye catching exterior elevations and spacious interiors. The development is within easy reach of Andover, Southampton and Bournemouth further afield.

For further information on the range of homes available, visit the marketing suite open daily from 10am until 5pm.
