Taylor Wimpey searches for the future star of Glastonbury

Do you think you’ve got what it takes to be the next Beyonce, Coldplay or U2? Well this competition is for you! House builder Taylor Wimpey is searching for the future star of Glastonbury.
From solo artists to bands, this competition is open to anybody who is looking to showcase their talent and further their music career, and who knows, one day you may even be performing at Glastonbury!
Taylor Wimpey, who is currently selling three and four bedroom homes at Dunstan Park in Glastonbury, is offering the lucky winner 12 hours in Orchard Recording Studio with an engineer, which includes recording, editing, mixing, production, plus a 3 hour pre-production session in the rehearsal studio. To complete the recording experience, you will receive a finished CD of your music.
To enter the competition, all you need to do is send a MP3 sound bite, no larger than 128kbps, to stars@taylorwimpey.com. Alternatively, drop a CD and your details into the sales office at Dunstan Park. All entries should be sent with your name, age, contact details, a photograph, no larger than 150kb, a short bio about yourself and why you believe you are the future star of Glastonbury. Closing date for all entries is Saturday 4th June 2011.
Your music will then be judged by three top music professionals. Simon Evans, a producer and recording engineer with over 10 years experience in the music industry. Simon has worked with many quality national and local acts over the years and has a keen ear for talent. Judging alongside Simon will be James Wilkes and Charlotte Worthy-Jarvis, owners of Orchard Recording Studios. Both have over 15 years of industry experience and have worked with key artists such as Joss Stone, Reef and Tom McRae.
