Historic Bolton development nears sell-out

20th May 2011 Print

With just three properties yet to be sold, homebuyers must hurry if they want to purchase an historic home near Bolton.

Arcon Village began life as an 18th century bleach works, but is now an established and popular residential area following a major regeneration project by Redrow which has seen the old buildings lovingly restored and the sympathetic construction of new buildings.

With limited availability, Redrow is urging anyone who wants to snap up one of the final homes to act fast to avoid disappointment.

Lesley Myers, area sales manager for Redrow Homes (Lancashire), commented: “Buyers have been impressed by the quality of the homes at Arcon Village as we have retained the character of the old buildings from the outside, while inside they are designed to meet the demands of modern 21st century living. With housing market analysts Hometrack* reporting that more people are now looking to buy a home, anyone who’s serious about moving to a new home in the Horwich area should contact us today to be in with a chance of purchasing a property that’s steeped in history.”

The remaining homes are all four-bedroom restored cottages, priced from £209,995. Those with a property to sell may find that they are able to use it to part-fund a move to Arcon Village.

“Customers who are yet to sell their current home may fear that it’s too late for them to be able to buy one of the final properties at Arcon Village, but that’s not the case. Part-exchange offers a quick and simple solution for those who want to move up the property ladder as we effectively act as a cash buyer for their old home. It takes the hassle out of moving as there’s no need to worry about getting caught up in a complicated chain and we’ll even pay the estate agent’s fees at the end of the day,” Lesley explained.

Set in beautiful countryside with stunning views of the West Pennine Moors, the development enjoys a tranquil location yet is just a short journey away from Bolton and benefits from easy access to the North West motorway network.

Potential purchasers can take a virtual tour of Arcon Village and the surrounding area online at redrow.tv. The award-winning broadband television channel also includes an easy to follow video guide to part-exchange.

The sales office at Arcon Village is now closed. To be in with a chance of purchasing one of the final homes, see the website: redrow.co.uk/arcon
