Jamie Cullum jazz experience in Reykjavik

1st June 2011 Print

Low fare airline and sponsor of Jamie Cullum’s Iceland concert, Iceland Express, invites all jazz fans to the brand new Harpa concert hall in Reykjavik.

Cullum will be playing a single concert on 23 June in the long-awaited Harpa Concert Hall promoting his new album The Pursuit. The singer, songwriter and pianist has been working on the album for four years which follows successful works including Twentysomething.

Iceland Express‘ sister company Iceland Express Travel is offering a three or four-night package including accommodation and a ticket to the concert from £534 (€303) per person in double room. Iceland Express has flights from £89 one-way including taxes so travellers can explore the sights and sounds of Reykjavik from their downtown hotel after the electric atmosphere of the concert before returning to London Gatwick.

Harpa Concert Hall is situated in the old harbour between Reykjavik city centre and the North Atlantic. The design of the new Harpa is influenced by Iceland‘s exceptionally dramatic nature and the gleaming sculpture reflects both sky and harbour, as well as the vibrant city life. With Cullum‘s recognisable brand of jazz, the concert hall will be the perfect setting for cool cats to experience Iceland this spring.
