Poland tops poll as best value for money

7th July 2011 Print

A recent study by Skyscanner has shown Poland to offer the best value for money out of 30 worldwide destinations.

The study, released last month (June) looked at 30 popular holiday destinations, taking into account the cost of a cup of coffee, a bottle of beer, a three course meal including a bottle of wine and one night’s accommodation.  The study concluded that those looking for real value should head to Poland, as it is a fantastic year round destination, combining winter sports opportunities with beautiful summer beaches, excellent city break options – and a wide choice of cheap flights.

Regent Holidays, who have been offering holidays to Poland since 1980, can organise a range of holidays to this excellent value for money country. For example, a 7 day city break combining Warsaw and Krakow will cost from £499 per person including flights with LOT Polish Airlines from London Heathrow, accommodation in 3 star hotels with breakfast, all arrival transfers and first class train tickets Warsaw to Krakow.

Alternatively, a 7 day holiday combining Krakow & Tatra Mountains will cost from £495 per person, including flights with Easyjet from Gatwick, accommodation in 3 star hotels with breakfast, airport transfers in Krakow and return coach tickets from Krakow to Zakopane.
