Exec Peterborough says ‘I do’ to hosting large-scale wedding

Celebrations will be in full swing at Exec Peterborough next month, when the venue hosts its first large-scale wedding.

Around 500 guests – including family members from India – will be arriving at the East of England Showground exhibition centre in Peterborough on 27 August for traditional wedding celebrations.

Having found the venue on the Internet, the bride and groom-to-be where impressed with Exec’s excellent facilities, versatile space and fantastic location close to the A1.

And with so many guests coming from all over the country, the free parking was another tick in the box.

Although Exec Peterborough has held many weddings, this is the first of its kind on such a large scale.

The venue’s events team has spent the past few months working closely with the local bride, wedding planners, outside caterers and decorators to ensure the ‘Big Day’ goes without a hitch.

Hollie Ward of the Exec team said: “This has certainly been the largest wedding we have hosted at the venue – with 500 guests expected throughout the day and evening.”

“With guests coming from all over the country, and even abroad, we are able to cater for large numbers in our car park which is another part of the venue’s attraction.

“We are very excited to be part of such a fantastic, and what it set to be colourful and lively celebration. We wish the couple well for their special day.”
