New showhome for homebuyers in Thornton-Cleveleys

28th July 2011 Print

David Wilson Homes North West is giving homebuyers in Thornton-Cleveleys the chance to find their dream home, with the recent launch of a new showhome complex at its popular Hawley Gardens development on 30th July.

Featuring four different housetypes, the new showhome complex will provide the chance to experience living in a David Wilson home.

Steve Jackson, Sales Director at David Wilson Homes North West, comments:

“I’m confident that the new showhome at Hawley Gardens will prove popular amongst local homebuyers, thanks to its perfect blend of thoughtfully designed homes, appealing location and affordable prices.

“We have already seen significant interest from local homebuyers on the new homes, so we encourage anyone who is interested in securing one of these stunning homes for themselves to come along and see what Hawley Gardens has to offer.”

The beautifully designed Shenton offers an attractive four bedroom property priced from just £249,995. The ground floor features an open plan kitchen and dining room, ideal for catching up with family and friends, and a separate lounge, making it perfect for relaxing after a hard day. The first floor plays host to three spacious double bedrooms, with an en-suite to the master bedroom, and a single bedroom or quiet study for a little extra space.

Also available is the attractive four bedroom, detached Millford home, priced from only £249,995 and the impressive detached Cornell, available from £268,995.

A Helping Hand

David Wilson Homes North West is also offering purchasers the chance to take advantage of a fantastic range of schemes to help cut the cost of buying their new home.

The FirstBuy initiative, for example, is a special incentive for purchasers in Thornton-Cleveleys to help them get their feet on the property ladder.

Under FirstBuy, buyers will be offered a loan of up to 20 per cent of the price of the property, jointly funded by David Wilson Homes North West and the Government’s Homes and Communities Agency (HCA).

The buyers then have to find the remaining 80 per cent of the price themselves. Up to 75 per cent of this could be a mortgage, leaving a deposit of just five per cent.
In practice, that means that anyone buying a three bedroom Archford home priced at £144,995 under the scheme would potentially be able to get on the housing ladder with a deposit of as little as £5,780.

Steve Jackson adds: “Any household with a combined income of up to £60,000 qualifies for the FirstBuy scheme, so I would urge anyone interested to contact us as soon as possible as the scheme has already attracted significant interest from local homebuyers.”

Also available is the part-exchange scheme, which has been specifically developed to help homebuyers overcome those uncertainties commonly associated with moving home, such as unstable property chains.

Steve concludes: “Here at David Wilson Homes we appreciate the various financial challenges homebuyers can experience when selling and buying a home, such as estate agents’ fees and issues with property chains. That’s why our part exchange scheme is ideal for house-hunters wanting to take their next step up the property ladder without any of the hassle.

“We encourage anyone who is interested to come along and view our showhome from 30th July and speak to our team of experts who will be on hand to offer free advice.”
