Since the economic downturn and the climbing deposits required for buying a home, the demand for rental properties has surged. Investors are now making the most of this increased demand and are purchasing buy-to-let properties, in the hope of achieving high returns. One Poole resident has taken advantage of this by purchasing not one, but two apartments at Crest Nicholson’s popular Poole Quarter development.

Roger Tulip, 61, who lives close to the development, has bought a one and two bedroom apartment at the seaside development after realising the investment potentials it had to offer. Poole Quarter’s Quayside location combined with the easy access to the local amenities and transport is securing high rental interest, something that Roger is now reaping the benefits of.

The properties are a solid long-term investment, explained Roger: “I immediately received a fantastic response to the properties from potential tenants and felt delighted to have both apartments occupied so quickly on long-term contracts. One set of tenants actually moved in on the afternoon that the sale completed!”

The properties come with a two year guarantee and the new build development gave Roger peace of mind – reducing the likelihood of maintenance issues that are common in re-sale properties. “Buying properties can often be a very stressful experience but everything ran very smoothly with the purchase of the new apartments. The on-site sales team were extremely helpful and my mind was put at ease when the rental potentials here were demonstrated to me.”

Crest Nicholson can make a buy-to-let purchase that much simpler too with its furniture pack incentive. The pack allows buyers to rent their property fully-furnished to achieve a higher, monthly rental rate without the stress of kitting it out themselves.

Christina Tiernan, Marketing Manager for Crest Nicholson South, explains: “We have found Poole Quarter to be very popular with investors. The development is in a highly sought after location and the furniture pack incentive means that purchasers can realise high rental yields sooner – moving tenants into a furnished apartment immediately.”

The properties offer superb styling throughout - all of the kitchens are fully fitted with Bosch appliances – including an electric hob and fan oven – while the bathrooms offer stylish, modern suites finished with chrome accessories. With elegant home features throughout, and many apartments including a private terrace or balcony, purchasers can expect superior quality at the Poole development.

Poole Quarter comprises an impressive selection of one, two and three bedroom apartments and penthouses. One bedroom apartments start at £150,000 and two bedrooms at start at £199,000.
