New opportunities are available for first-time buyers thanks to the FirstBuy scheme at Taylor Wimpey’s Oxley Gate and Kingston Chase developments of new homes for sale in Milton Keynes.

Fast-moving first-time buyers in search of new build homes in Milton Keynes can get help to step on the property ladder with the Government’s new FirstBuy scheme at Taylor Wimpey’s Oxley Gate and Kingston Chase developments.

This fantastic initiative lets qualifying purchasers secure selected new homes in Milton Keynes with a mortgage of just 75% of the full purchase price and a 5% deposit – and it’s available now with a limited number of three-bedroom houses for sale in Milton Keynes at these two popular developments.

For example, under FirstBuy in Milton Keynes, one lucky purchaser could secure the stylish two-bedroom Plot 51 ‘Kirsh’ coach house at Oxley Gate, priced with FirstBuy at just £134,396 – that’s a deposit of only £8,400 and a mortgage of just £125,996!

Alternatively, the three-bedroom Plot 145 ‘Chester’ semi-detached property for sale in Milton Keynes at Kingston Chase is available with FirstBuy for just £153,600, which means a deposit of just £9,600 and a mortgage of only £144,000. A beautifully decorated ‘Chester’ showhome is currently available to view at this development.

“We have already experienced considerable interest in this fantastic initiative and availability is strictly limited, so I would stress to anyone interested in taking advantage of the offer that they must be quick to avoid missing out.”

FirstBuy works through a joint loan of 20% from the Homes and Communities Agency (HCA) and Taylor Wimpey, which means that eligible purchasers only need put down a 5% deposit and obtain a 75% loan-to-value mortgage.

The loan is repayable at the end of the 25-year mortgage term or when the property is sold. To be eligible, purchasers must be first-time buyers and their total household earnings should be less than £60,000.

Oxley Gate is set in a peaceful location on the western edge of Milton Keynes and bounded by a woodland reserve and open countryside, while Kingston Chase lies on the eastern fringes of the town and is part of a new community which will include a primary school and public playing fields.

Both developments are within easy reach of thecentre:mk shopping centre, Xscape leisure dome and the Theatre District.
