Staying in is the new going out, especially when you have a good meal to accompany good friends.

But many of us often end up slaving away in the kitchen all night to create an enviable menu for our dinner party guests.

TV presenter and self-confessed foodie Kate Thornton has teamed up with Blue Dragon to dish up three easy to follow recipes to add a dash of spice to mealtimes. Whether it’s a night in with friends, a mid-week treat or satisfying fussy teenagers these recipes are sure to impress!

In the first instalment of the series, Kate shows just how easy it is to whip up a delicious and decadent meal fit for any dinner party setting – Rump lamb steak with new potatoes and green bean salad – with an added oriental twist to a classic menu.

Kate’s tip: Drizzle the sticky sauce left in the pan over the top of the lamb steaks just before serving to give it an extra kick!
