Family stick with Redrow as they trade up for more space

A family of three were so happy with the quality and location of their Redrow home that when they needed more space, they simply traded it in for a larger one on the same development.
Businessman Alex Lapis, 32, and wife Julia, 29 purchased their first family home at Broughton Manor, Milton Keynes, just over a year ago, shortly after the birth of their daughter Nicole.
Such was their satisfaction with the property and their experience with Redrow, that Alex says it was a “no brainer” to stick with the company that had brought them such joy the first time around. So they took advantage of Redrow’s part exchange service to move to a bigger house.
“The part exchange process was flawless”, said Alex. “And we knew from our first experience that Redrow customer service and after sales care were excellent. We exchanged very quickly, within a matter of two weeks, and we’re now settling in to our new home and have all the extra space we needed.”
Part exchange essentially means Redrow will act as a cash buyer for your existing home, enabling you to move quickly with no hassle.
The Lapis family have moved from a three-bedroom semi to a five-bedroom detached home, with a whole extra floor of space ‘in the roof’, which they will be using as a guest bedroom and a home office.
As well as standing by a brand they knew and trusted, the couple were also keen to buy another new build home. Alex said: “We chose another new home mainly because with a small child we just didn’t have the time or the energy to renovate an older property up to the standard we wanted. Although we may have paid a little bit more for a new home, we feel we are getting better value for money, because it’s still less than it would cost to do up an old house and we’re saving so much time and effort.
“We’ve found both of our new homes to be very energy efficient and well insulated and we look forward to spending another warm winter in our home. Both properties have also benefited from solar panels, which have helped us to save money on our fuel bills.
All but one of the homes at Broughton Manor has now been sold, so potential purchasers are advised to hurry if they don’t want to miss out on the remaining four-bedroom detached home, priced at £309,950. Alternatively, Redrow has a stylish range of spacious one, two and three-bedroom apartments available at its nearby Bletchley Park development, priced from £130,950.
The areas around Broughton Manor and Bletchley Park offer a range of local amenities with excellent commuter links to nearby Milton Keynes, while London is just a 37 minute train journey away. The area is characterised by parks and open spaces and boasts good schools, shops and leisure facilities including the Xscape indoor ski slope.
