Taylor Wimpey Milton Keynes delivers safety message

Taylor Wimpey, the leading housebuilder behind the Kingston Chase development of Milton Keynes property, has been working with local schoolchildren to promote building site safety.

Pupils at Monkston Primary School in Milton Keynes have been doing their bit to keep building sites safe for local developer Taylor Wimpey South Midlands.

The leading housebuilder, which is constructing a range of family-sized homes at its Kingston Chase development of new homes for sale in Milton Keynes, invited the children to take part in a competition to design posters promoting building site safety.

The competition was won by nine-year-old Rhiannon Maddocks, who was presented with a £30 book token at a special assembly on Friday 4th November by Nikki Gibson, Regional Sales Manager for Taylor Wimpey, which is responsible for a number of high-quality collections of new build homes in Milton Keynes.

Rhiannon’s winning design has been framed and now has pride of place on the wall of the Sales Centre at Taylor Wimpey’s Kingston Chase development of property for sale in Milton Keynes. Runner-up Han’a Sultan (10) received a £20 token and third-placed Diogo Fernandes (8) a £10 token.

After presenting the prizes, Nikki says: “Monkston Primary School is less than two miles from our development and, with many pupils living close by, we at Taylor Wimpey Milton Keynes felt it would be responsible to raise awareness about safety near building sites and the dangers of playing around them.

“The children were certainly inspired by the safety message as we had some incredibly imaginative entries and every pupil who submitted a poster should be very proud of their work.”
