A couple are celebrating after becoming the first residents to move into their new home at Taylor Wimpey Southern Counties’ popular Austen Court development in Hilsea.

Adam Allen (24) and Emma Wraith (22) were one of the first customers to reserve an apartment at Austen Court, taking advantage of the benefits that buying a home off plan can bring.

As soon as they were shown the plans for a two bedroom Latimer House apartment they were sold and wasted no time in reserving their choice of plot – even though they only had the development plans to base their decision on.

Adam explains: “We were relocating from Hayling Island and Austen Court was exactly what we were looking for. It’s close to work and the development is in a fantastic location, just outside of the city with a good selection of shops, restaurants and leisure facilities right on the doorstep.

“It was clear from the floor plans that this was the home for us. The apartment offered us so much space for our money which is fantastic, as nothing we’d seen previously had been as big or in such a good location. Buying off plan meant that we could pick one of the best plots on the development and see our home being built which was very exciting!”

With Taylor Wimpey’s expert team in place, Adam and Emma’s home buying process has been smooth and stress free.

“The whole team at Austen Court have been brilliant – we’ve had plenty of questions but Steph, Veronica and Donna, the sales executives, have been so helpful and kept us right up to date with everything. I think we’re going to be very happy here and I’d recommend Austen Court to any potential house buyers,” continued Adam.

Sarah Pasco, regional sales director for Taylor Wimpey Southern Counties, said, “It’s fantastic that Adam and Emma have found their dream home at Austen Court and we’re delighted that their home buying experience with Taylor Wimpey has gone so smoothly. As Adam highlights, if you’re in no rush to move then buying off plan has many benefits so it’s definitely worth considering. Why not pay Austen Court a visit to find out more?”

The stunning development now has just a small number of one and two bedroom apartments available for sale, which are perfect for first time buyers and can be snapped up for as little as £105,000*.

Located amongst mature trees on the north end of Portsea Island within an established residential area of Hilsea, Austen Court benefits from its close proximity to Portsmouth city centre, while Hilsea railway station offers commuters a direct line to London Waterloo.
