Redrow's new area sales manager Julie Harper says rejoining the company she left 10 years ago feels like ‘coming home’.

Julie, who has just returned to Redrow Homes (Lancashire), in Chorley, explained: “I was previously a sales consultant at Redrow for 12 years before being promoted to sales manager. I subsequently worked for other housebuilders but 10 years on I’m back with Redrow and it feels like I’ve come home.

“I always wanted to return to Redrow because they are the best and I felt like I grew up with them. There are people here who I worked with the first time around including those who, like me, have rejoined the business after a spell elsewhere. It’s good for the company and for customers that Redrow employees have such a sense of pride and loyalty.”

Julie, 48, who lives near Warrington, is based at Redrow’s Lancashire headquarters at Buckshaw Village near Chorley.

She will oversee local developments Cedar Walk at Buckshaw Village and Old Gate Park in Penwortham, as well as a number of ventures in the Fylde area. The latter includes large detached family homes at Wrea Green, coastal properties at Harbour Village in Fleetwood, the just-launched Lytham Quays venture and Whitehills Meadow in Blackpool, which is due to launch in early 2012.

They all feature designs from Redrow’s sought-after New Heritage Collection of traditional looking homes with high specification modern interiors designed to meet the demands of 21st century family living.

“The New Heritage Collection is fantastic and was part of the reason I wanted to come back to Redrow. It’s a product I’m proud to sell because externally the homes look far better than the competition and the internal layouts and specification are simply fantastic, especially the kitchens with the integrated top brand name appliances, floor to ceiling cabinets and extra wide drawers,” said Julie.

“Challenging market conditions and lenders’ restrictions on mortgages may be making it more difficult to sell homes generally, but we’ve got a great product in great locations and have many selling aids that will help anyone and everyone looking to buy a new home.”
