Lancashire homebuyers have given new homes in Wrea Green their seal of approval, snapping up eight large and luxuries properties in as many months.

Redrow launched the intimate development of 12 homes in March. It’s proved so popular that just four properties are yet to be sold.

Julie Harper, area sales manager for Redrow Homes (Lancashire), commented: “Wrea Green offers traditional village living at its very best and is a sought-after place in which to live. The combination of the location and the superb quality we offer in our new homes has made the development a success and we’re delighted that we’ve now sold three-quarters of the properties.

“The popularity of the development is testament to the high degree of workmanship our skilled team of craftsmen have invested in building the properties and the sales team’s commitment to delivering quality levels of customer service to ensure that our customers experience the true joy of owning a brand new Redrow home.”

A final four-bedroom property, plus three five-bedroom homes are still available at Wrea Green, priced from £531,995.

Because of the limited availability those with a home of their own to sell may fear they will miss out on the chance to call Wrea Green ‘home’, but thanks to part exchange they could find that making a move from old to new is easier than they anticipated.

“Wrea Green is a place where people aspire to live, but the size of the homes and the level of investment they represent may mean that buyers are reluctant to make a commitment before they have sold their current home,” Julie explained.

“With part exchange we will effectively buy a customer’s old home so that they can buy one of our beautiful new homes, cutting out the stress and uncertainty of becoming entangled in a complicated chain and with no agent’s fees to pay. It’s the hassle-free way to move up the property ladder.”

An easy to follow video guide to part exchange can be viewed online at redrow.tv. The award-winning broadband television channel also includes a virtual tour of Wrea Green.
